Taken at Akron Zoo - Akron, OH
Naom was laying out with her cubs (born March 3, 2009) this morning, napping in the sunshine. She is a beautiful jaguar, which is the third largest feline predator in the world, and they are often found enjoying their pool and waterfall. Today they were simply enjoying their early afternoon snoozing and I contented myself with watching them.
This photo was pure luck that she was looking right at me when I snapped the photo. There were a lot of kids in the viewing area that I'm sure were far more entertaining!
