Glory

Last night I took some photos of leftover peacock feathers I'd bought when making a headband for my flapper costume for Halloween. Of course my actions got the immediate attention of the kitties, so these photos are taken in between me standing up and saying "Hey, get away!" or "No, that's not for you!" and even throwing some of their favorite toys AWAY from where I was shooting. Ahh the life of a cat owner.

This shot was taken by propping the feather up on my couch with only our table light for lighting. The background is actually from whatever TV show was on at the time, but it gave it a really cool effect through some of the spaces between the feathers.
