Taken at Horseshoe Pond - Peninsula, OH
After getting a feel for how to use the IR filter on my camera, I have been getting out there and playing around with getting photos with great gusto. It's challenging and interesting to learn how to shoot IR with a camera that hasn't had the IR blocking filter removed. And it's a learning curve to figure out how to make adjustments post-processing to get the effect you're looking for as well.
The exposure on it was an impressive 76 seconds, which makes it more interesting that I got such a sharp image of that man fishing at the dock. And in terms of processing, it's just one step from how it comes out of my camera. All I did was grab the RAW file and do Auto Levels on it. That's it. I could have taken it a little further and continued processing, but for some reason the hue of this red sky against the color of the trees made me stop.
