During my two week work trip to Florida, I had a weekend free to do a little sight-seeing. My husband had flown in to spend the last week with me and had come in that morning and after sitting in the hotel for a little bit he convinced me that my original idea to go out to Clearwater was a good one.

After spending all day roasting in the sun, we remained for sunset and I caught this photo as we went back to the car for my tripod. A little creative angling and I was able to hide the sun mostly behind one of the palm trees and speed up the shutter just a bit to get that great silhouette.

Living in the cooler Ohio region I don't get to appreciate them that much so when I got a gorgeous sunset shot like this I just had to take it to remind myself.
